AhlulBayt News Agency: The Hamas Movement has applauded what it called “the pivotal role that has been played by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon in supporting the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian resistance” as well as “the great sacrifices made by Hezbollah and its leadership, especially martyr Hasan Nasrallah, the late secretary-general of the party.”
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas valued the steadfastness of the brotherly Lebanese people and their constant solidarity with the Palestinian people, and asked Allah Almighty to protect Lebanon and its people from all harm and evil.
“The enemy’s acceptance of the agreement with Lebanon without achieving the preconditions it has set is an important step towards shattering Netanyahu’s illusions about changing the map of the Middle East by force and defeating and disarming the resistance forces,” Hamas said.
Hamas affirmed this agreement would not have been possible without the steadfastness of the resistance and the popular rallying around it, expressing its confidence that the axis of resistance would continue to support the Palestinian people and their battle against the occupation with all means.
Hamas reiterated its keenness on cooperating with any efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and end the Israeli aggression against its people.
The Movement called on the Arab and Islamic countries and the world’s free powers to take serious steps to pressure Washington and the Israeli occupation regime to stop its brutal aggression and genocidal war against the Palestinians in Gaza.
