AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Afghan Shia Ulema Council has issued a statement strongly condemning the massacre of Shiites in Parachinar region of Pakistan, and a number of Sunni worshippers in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan, and called on Islamic scholars to take serious measures to condemn the enemies of Islam and the dirty faces of hypocrites.
The Afghan Shia Ulema Council, has issued a statement on Monday, November 25, reacting to the massacre of Shiites in the Parachinar region of Pakistan and a number of Sunni worshippers in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan, by the terrorist group ISIS.
The text of the statement issued by the Afghan Shia Ulema Council is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Sadly, the criminal hands of the sworn enemies of Islam have once again been stained with the pure blood of the Muslim people of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The cruel and heartless terrorists who have no sense of Islam and the Quran, like the companions of "Akhdud", massacred a large number of oppressed Shiites of Parachinar and killed innocent men, women and children, and watched their brutal crimes with the utmost cruelty! Similarly, another group of these senseless and barbaric terrorists shot and killed a number of oppressed Muslims who were praying in Baghlan province, causing great grief to the Muslim nation of Afghanistan, especially their families.
We strongly condemn both terrorist, inhuman and anti-Islamic incidents and we call on the scholars of Islamic countries to take serious and urgent measures to expose the enemies of Islam and the evil face of hypocrites, and we call on the governments of both countries to make sincere efforts to protect the lives of their citizens and to identify, arrest and severely punish the perpetrators of these horrible crimes.
We ask God Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the souls of the innocent martyrs of these incidents, and we ask for a speedy recovery for the injured and those affected, and for the survivors and their grieving families, for patience.
Afghan Shia Ulema Council - Kabul
