AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pakistani Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Babar W. Malik, paid a visit to Imam Reza shrine and met with the Deputy for International Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR), Hoj. Mostafa Faqih Esfandiari.
The meeting, which was held on November 24 at the deputy's office, focused on enhancing facilitation for Pakistani pilgrims visiting Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.
Speaking in the meeting, Hoj. Esfandiari reported on the activities and initiatives of AQR aimed at easing the pilgrimage process for Pakistani visitors.
Pakistani diplomat was in Mashhad for a ceremony honoring martyr Ayatollah Ebrahim Raeisi, the former Iranian president who lost his life in a chopper crash in May.
For his part, ambassador Malik praised the efforts of AQR to create conducive conditions for Pakistani pilgrims.
He expressed readiness to collaborate on various projects, including attracting Pakistani investors for the construction of hotels and accommodation facilities for Pakistani pilgrims and garnering endowments and donations to further ease the pilgrimage experience for Urdu-speaking visitors.
