AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): At least 24 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, raising the overall death toll since last year to 44,235, according to the Health Ministry in the enclave.
A ministry statement reported that approximately 104,638 others were injured in the ongoing assault. “Israeli forces killed 24 people and injured 71 others in two attacks on families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry stated.
Many people remain trapped beneath the rubble and on the roads, as rescuers are unable to reach them. The Israeli army has continued its aggressive military campaign in the Gaza Strip following a Hamas attack last year, despite a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.
International recognition of the genocide in Gaza has increased during the second year of the deadly war between Israel and Hamas, with various organizations and leaders labeling the actions as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.
On Thursday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice regarding its devastating actions in Gaza.
