AhlulBayt News Agency: The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening condemned the terrorist attack on a Shia Muslim convoy in the city of Parachinar, northwest of Pakistan, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of many Muslims.
The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening in a statement also announced that these crimes are being carried out to create division among Muslims and insecurity and instability in the region in an organized manner with the support of the United States and the West, along with their regional agents such as the Israeli regime.
The statement states that the Pakistani government is expected to prevent the recurrence of such crimes by taking serious measures, including applying domestic and foreign political and military pressure on the supporters of the Takfiri and terrorist groups, in the meantime.
Meanwhile, the Counter-Terrorism Police of the Pakistani province of Punjab killed three terrorists in an intelligence-security operation in the Chakri area of Rawalpindi, near Islamabad, the country's capital.
Pakistan has faced an unprecedented increase in terrorist attacks on its security forces over the past three years, particularly in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for most of these attacks.
