In a press statement on Sunday, it provided an informational update on the losses it has incurred since the start of the war, confirming that the Israeli occupation forces killed 87 of its staff and destroyed its stock of firefighting, rescue, and ambulance equipment valued at 1.3 million dollars.
The Civil Defense explained that most of its vehicles in the Gaza Governorate have been out of service for the 18th consecutive day due to a lack of fuel necessary for their operation. It indicated that the Civil Defense system has been completely halted and its vehicles have been detained in northern Gaza for the 33rd day running.
The Civil Defense reported that the number of martyrs among its personnel has reached 87, while 304 members have been injured, and 21 others have been detained since the war began. It noted that the number of destroyed and damaged centers and headquarters has reached 17, including 14 that were razed to the ground, along with 56 vehicles that were completely destroyed, including 12 firefighting and rescue vehicles, 2 rapid response rescue vehicles, 4 water tankers, 3 ambulances, a hydraulic rescue ladder, and 13 administrative vehicles.
It also said that the occupation army directly targeted Civil Defense centers 6 times, in addition to 18 instances of targeting crews during field missions.
