AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Canadians in Montreal took to the streets to protest the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, chanting slogans against NATO and in support of the Palestinian people.
Protesters burned an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the demonstration.
According to the report, security forces used tear gas to disperse the protesters and arrested several protesters.
The summit of NATO and partner countries was held in Montreal on Friday, the main topic of which was Ukraine.
On the other hand, supporters of Palestine demonstrated in support of the Palestinians at Concordia University, Canada's largest university, which was turned into violence and clashes by supporters of the Zionist regime.
The protests unfolded as NATO delegates convened in the city for a high-level summit.
