Yemen Al-Houthi: Martyrs’ ideals shape our path

The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, addressed key regional issues and ongoing developments in today’s speech.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, addressed key regional issues and ongoing developments in today’s speech.

In his speech today, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi underscored that the ideals of the martyrs chart their course. He noted that from the very beginning, the Yemeni nation has embraced the ideals of the Ummah, guided by Quranic principles, as their beacon.

He added that nations are grateful to those who have sacrificed themselves to free them from enemies and ward off their evil. The status of martyrs who have given their lives for the sake of God is exalted and of the highest rank.

Historical, Ongoing Atrocities

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stressed, "The United States, the Zionist regime, and their allies are at the forefront of malicious, criminal, and corrupt entities in our time." He lamented, "Many intellectuals and politicians within our Ummah are swayed by the rhetoric of Western nations, including the United States and the Zionist regime." Al-Houthi criticized the supporters of the Zionist regime for their attractive yet deceptive statements about freedom and human rights, which they propagate through the media and public opinion, while their actions are marked by extreme brutality and corruption.

He noted that some people forget the deeply criminal and disastrous historical records of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. He stated that the West is even more barbaric than wild animals in the jungle. Western countries have massacred millions of people in the most horrific ways. From its inception, the United States built its system on the widespread killing of the land's original inhabitants, the Native Americans.

Western Hypocrisy

Al-Houthi said, "European colonizers massacred millions of children, women, and elderly among the Native Americans and occupied what is now known as the United States. No country in the world speaks as much about peace as the United States, yet it annihilated hundreds of thousands of people with nuclear bombs in a matter of minutes. This country killed hundreds of thousands in Vietnam with bombs and fire, and hundreds of thousands more in Iraq and Afghanistan. The United States has been the main partner in the crimes of the Zionist regime over the past decades in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. The United Kingdom and France collaborated with the United States to use Zionist gangs, sending them to Palestine and arming them."

He added, "The statements of the Zionists, which we repeatedly hear regarding Palestine, the Levant, Egypt, parts of Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, are aimed at their direct occupation. The rhetoric of the Americans and Zionists about reshaping the Middle East means taking control of everyone in this region. Decisions made on the international stage, such as those by the Security Council to stop the genocide in Gaza, do not sit well with the United States."

Arab Inaction, Western Occupation

Al-Houthi stressed, "In the past, Arab countries would react impulsively and momentarily to the enemy, and it would end there; an uncalculated and momentary reaction. Our Ummah has retreated from many of its moral principles and values. Before the formation of Hezbollah, the enemy invaded Lebanon in seven days and reached Beirut, but today, Lebanese fighters are bombarding the occupied territories, and these attacks have reached as far as Jaffa."

He went on to say that millions of Zionists are continuously seeking refuge in shelters, with sirens blaring incessantly in the occupied territories. Over the past week, Iraqi Islamic resistance fighters have executed 18 operations against the occupying forces. Yemeni armed forces have targeted American naval ships, including the Eisenhower, prompting them to retreat from the Red Sea. The Lincoln is also withdrawing from the Arabian Sea. Despite facing numerous hardships, hundreds of thousands of Yemeni men are preparing for training and jihad in the name of God.
