AhlulBayt News Agency: Hamas Movement said Beit Lahia massacre affirms the Israeli insistence on committing the US-backed crime of genocide against the Palestinian people which comes as a direct outcome of the “impudent” US veto that thwarted the UN Security Council resolution that demanded immediate cessation of the aggression.
Hamas confirmed in a press statement on Thursday that the massacre comes as a continuation of the ethnic cleansing campaign the Israeli occupation army has been committing in the northern Gaza Strip for about 50 consecutive days.
Hamas pointed out that the Israeli occupation forces committed a horrific massacre early Thursday by bombing a residential neighborhood, in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, which led to the martyrdom of sixty-six people and dozens of wounded and missing.
The Movement held the international community, the UN and international organizations responsible for the continuation of the Israeli massacres against Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, as a result of the silence and inability to activate mechanisms that would prevent genocide and ethnic cleansing crimes against Palestinians.
Hamas renewed its calls for a global decisive action from all parties to push for halting the Zionist genocide against the Palestinian people, and to pursue the necessary measures to deter the Israeli occupation army from continuing its crimes and systematic plans to displace the Palestinians.
