Member of Iran’s Strategic Council of Foreign Relations visited ABNA

A member of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during his visit to the ABNA News Agency, said, “This news agency has a valuable role in introducing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings to different communities in different languages. This is a heavy task. Of course, every step taken in this field will definitely have divine rewards.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Dr. Sayed Mahdi Mostafavi, a member of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the former head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, visited ABNA News Agency and was informed about the activities of the news agency.

On the sidelines of this meeting, regarding the activities of ABNA News Agency, Dr. Mostafavi said, “By the grace of God, we are witnessing a process of growth and elevation that was anticipated. The conditions of the world and the region, the status of Muslims, especially the situation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers, necessitate that we effectively introduce the fundamental beliefs of AhlulBayt (a.s.), which are based on the verses of the Holy Quran, to the world, remove the obscurity and the imposed limitations they face from them, and with God’s help, respond to the raised doubts and potential distortions with an active rather than a passive approach. Today, because the world is thirsty for true knowledge, we believe, and it has been proven that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings are the guide for human life.”

“This news agency has a valuable role in introducing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings to different communities in different languages. This is a heavy task. Of course, every step taken in this field will definitely have divine rewards. The dear ones who serve in ABNA are truly Mujahideen, working on the front line of confronting the enemy, who are occupied with introducing and explaining Islamic values and AhlulBayt (a.s.). May God reward them,” added the member of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations.

Expressing strategies to improve the position and performance of the ABNA News Agency, he said, “First, the necessary infrastructure must be provided, and good steps have been taken in this direction. Due to the advancement of information technology, we should use the efficient technologies of the day. Provisions must be made for this. To be able to broadcast our content well to the world, we must know the needs of the target communities well. Examining the needs of each community is crucial. Prioritized, up-to-date, insightful, problem-solving, and problem-oriented information should be offered to the world.”

“Content is one of the crucial components in the field of media. It should be strong, sensible, and effective. By producing and presenting good content, we can get good feedback. We must develop our target audience. It means working with calculation and planning so that the number of our audience today is more than of our audience tomorrow. The audience must be both the elite and the general public. All types of social spectrum should be covered. It is not appropriate to produce content only for the elite class or only for the common class. By the grace of God, ABNA News Agency has such capacity. With God’s help, the managers of this news agency put strategic plans for quantitative and qualitative development on their agenda,” added Mostafavi, a member of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations.

During this visit, Hassan Sadraei Aref, the head of AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency – Abna – introduced the various departments of the news agency and presented a report on the activities carried out and future objectives.
