AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Condemning Zionist regimes crimes in Gaza, including the killing of women and children, Hamas representative in Iran, stated that no negotiations will be held with a regime that disregards international laws.
Speaking at a special program dubbed ‘Astan Event’ – an initiative to unveil the new publications by Astan Quds Razavi and to honor martyr Yahya Sinwar, author of “Thorn and Carnation” – Khaled Qadumi highlighted the significance of the book, which explains the reasons behind Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
“Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was a response to the Zionist regime’s years-long crimes against Palestinians”, said Qadumi in the event, which was held in Sheikh Tabarsi Hall of Islamic Research Foundation of Imam Reza shrine (northeast Iran).
The representative of Palestinian resistance group in Tehran criticized those who believe that international communities can resolve Gaza’s issues, noting, “International laws have been ignored since 1947 (the year the Israeli regime was created)”.
Qadumi emphasized the resistance will be steadfast until Palestine’s liberation. “Of 43,000 Palestinian martyrs, 70% are women and children, and 90% of Gaza’s population is homeless.”
The struggle is now between right and wrong, with the international community increasingly supporting Gaza”, Qadumi stressed.
Highlighting the role of the resistance leaders in globalizing the Palestinian cause, he lauded the support from American public through anti-Israel demonstrations.
Hamas official further asserted that Palestinians will determine their own future and that there will be no place for Israel in Palestine.
“The success of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood marked the collapse of Israel’s security and political hegemony, and a preliminary step for complete liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea”, the Hamas representative declared.
Opining on “Thorn and Carnation,” a novel by the late political chief of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, Qadumi said the work depicts the lives of Palestinians, using the native language of Gazans.
He emphasized the importance of book reading to counter Western media warfare and encouraged the younger generation to embrace their own culture.
