AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The 12th edition of the interfaith dialogue between Iran and Vatican will take place in Rome on November 19-20.
The Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and the Vatican’s Interfaith Dialogue Center will organize the event.
The theme of the 12th edition will be “Education of Youths as A Challenge for Islam and Christianity”.
It will be hosted by Cardinal Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, the head of the Vatican’s Interfaith Dialogue Center.
ICRO Chief Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour will head the Iranian delegation, which also includes member f interfaith dialogue policy-making and coordination council Mahmoud Mohammadi Araqi, director of Khorasan Razavi Islamic Seminary Ali Khayyat, and international relations deputy of Iran’s Islamic Seminaries Seyed Mofid Hosseini Kuhsari.
Concept of education in Islam and Christianity, opportunities and challenges of education in today’s world from the viewpoints of Islam and Christianity, and education of youths a setting for dialogue and cooperation between Islam and Christianity are among the subjects to be discussed at the meetings.
