AhlulBayt News Agency: The UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine called for the world's special attention to the crime of genocide by the Zionist regime in Gaza and its victims.
In reaction to the Palestinian doctor's account of the genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist regime in Gaza, Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, wrote in a message on the X social network,: "Let these accounts become a story; never forget the victims of a genocide."
Joyce Msuya, the Acting Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator, also reported at the Security Council meeting that 70% of the martyrs of the Israeli attacks are women and children.
On the other hand, Greta Thunberg, a Swedish environmental and human rights activist, wrote in a video, protesting the participation of some governments in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza: "We must end Turkey's complicity in the genocide in Gaza by providing energy to the Zionist regime by gathering in front of Turkish embassies in different countries."
Ilze Brands Kehris, the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, also emphasized at the UN Security Council meeting that there is no safe place in Gaza due to the intensity of the Zionist attacks. The situation in this region is critical and the risk of famine is imminent.
Meanwhile, Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian representative to the UN, called on the Security Council to take action on the famine crisis in Gaza.
Mansour told the UN Security Council members: "Let's think about it. Israel has implemented famine as a method of war for ethnic cleansing and advancing colonial goals."
According to Louise Watridge, the Senior Emergency Officer of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the amount of aid entering the Gaza Strip is at its lowest level in months.
This UNRWA official said: "Children are losing their lives. People are dying every day. People here need everything."
