AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The anniversary of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (SA) will be marked with mourning ceremonies in Iran’s holy city of Qom.
The programs will be organized at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) for five days, starting on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
The Imam Khomeini (RA) Shabestan (prayer hall) will host the mourning rituals after the Asr (afternoon) and Isha (night) prayers, according to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine.
They include religious speeches by senior clerics Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Hossein Aqamiri and Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mohammad Hossein Raji.
There will also be elegy recitations by Hossein Ardestani, Yaseen Sheikhzadeh, Mehdi Rasouli, Javad Barzegar, Mohammad Reyhani, Mohsen Banifatemeh, Mehdi Salahshour, and Hassan Heidarzadeh.
Shia Muslims and others in different parts of the world hold rituals every year in the middle of the month of Jumada al-Awwal in the lunar Hijri calendar to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
