AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Foreign Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar called for immediate and effective measures to hold Israel accountable for its genocidal war on Gaza.
Addressing a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers for the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh on Sunday, Ishaq Dar said that mere condemnation of Israeli crimes will not be enough, but the Muslim Ummah must strive to achieve justice for the Palestinian people.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan also emphasized the need for the immediate implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution on Palestine and support for making Palestine a full member of the United Nations, while demanding a review of Israel's membership in the United Nations.
He also called for the imposition of arms embargoes on Israel.
The Pakistani top official also suggested the appointment of a joint adviser on the Middle East to keep in touch with the progress made in the implementation of the resolutions passed by various Arab-Islamic organizations related to the Middle East.
After a scandalous defeat in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Israeli regime launched an all-out war on Gaza and Lebanon to destroy Hamas and Hezbollah and the liberation of the Zionists taken captive in the operation; the Israeli regime has so far killed more than 46,000 people in Palestine and Lebanon, yet it failed to achieve either of the goals.
Palestine's resistance carried out the historic Al-Aqsa Flood operation in response to more than 7 decades of the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
