AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli army continued its aggression on Lebanon for the 48th day in a row on Saturday, targeting all the towns of southern Lebanon in addition to Beirut and its southern suburb, with a violent series of raids which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded and mass destruction in property.
Since Friday evening, Israeli warplanes have launched 11 consecutive raids on Beirut’s southern suburb, following evacuation warnings, according to the National Agency for Official Media.
In the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, six people were killed and dozens were wounded in a series of raids that targeted three buildings in the city, according to Lebanese Ministry of Health’s initial estimates.
The National News Agency (NNA) stated that Friday evening raids targeted three buildings in the coastal city of Tyre, without prior evacuation notices. The NNA added that the raids “caused severe damage to the surrounding buildings and apartments.”
The French Press Agency reported that the targeted buildings were located in an ancient residential and densely populated neighborhood.
On the other hand, the Israeli army claimed, in a statement, that its warplanes attacked “command centers for Hezbollah in a civilian area near the city of Tyre.”
Hezbollah announced its bombing of Tel Nof air base south of Tel Aviv, and launching missiles on Stella Maris naval base, northwest of the city of Haifa, as well as another base and its airport southeast of the city, for the second time in less than 24 hours.
The party also announced launching several attacks on Israeli sites and border settlements, including bombing the Kiryat Shmona settlement, and attacking with suicide drones a gathering of military forces in Maron Al-Ras.
Hezbollah added that it had launched two missiles on two gatherings of Israeli forces in two settlements north of Israel, following the party’s deployment of a video in which it said it was the targeting of the city of Safed with Malak-1 missiles.
The party also affirmed the destruction of an Israeli armored personnel carrier in the vicinity of the town of Kafarkila, in southern Lebanon, killing and injuring its crew.
