AhlulBayt News Agency: According to a report by an American newspaper, the interventions of the US Army's Navy in the West Asia region over the past year in support of the Zionist regime and the attacks carried out against the resistance axis have cost the US Army dearly.
The American newspaper "Business Insider" reported that the US Navy's military interventions in support of the Zionist regime in the West Asia region over the past year have cost around $2 billion.
"Business Insider" quoted a US Navy spokesperson as saying: "US Navy warships and aircraft stationed in West Asia and its surroundings over the past year have spent $1.85 billion on ammunition to bomb targets belonging to Yemen’s Ansarullah in the Red Sea and what this newspaper has called defending the Zionist regime against Iranian and resistance attacks."
Experts believe that the unprecedented operation by the Yemeni army, in addition to preventing the US and British efforts to break the Zionist regime's naval blockade, showed military power that Washington was unaware of, and in fact, disrupted the US equations.
Meanwhile, during the two successful operations "True Promise 1" and "True Promise 2" by Iran against the Zionist regime, which have resulted in significant damage and defeats for the regime, the United States has made efforts to defend its ally.
Business Insider wrote that US Navy warships stationed in the eastern Mediterranean have launched interceptor missiles against ballistic missiles fired by Iran during both Operation True Promise 1 on April 13 and Operation True Promise 2 on October 1.
Recently, the US has also deployed the THAAD air defense system in Occupied Territories to strengthen the Zionist regime's air defense, following the changes in the tactics of the war and the consecutive defeats of the Iron Dome system against missile attacks from Lebanon, Gaza, and most importantly, from Iran.
This is while the US, despite all its support for Israel, has not only failed in terms of cost but has also been concerned about the finishing of some of its expensive armaments, such as SM-3 interceptor missiles.
