Hezbollah al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement issued a statement congratulating the appointment of Sheikh "Naim Qassem" as the new Secretary General of Hezbollah. The text of the statement is as follows:
We voice our support for Sheikh Mujahid, who has been entrusted with a blessed mission at an important and decisive stage of Hezbollah's tough battle with the Zionist enemy.
Sheikh Naim Qassem is considered the best successor for his righteous predecessors; he will follow the path of martyred mujahid commanders "Sayyed Abbas Al-Mousavi" and "Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah" who passed away.
