From the staff of Moses to Yahya's staff: The legendary Sinwar against the sons of Pharaoh

AhlulBayt News Agency: The writer of the Etemad newspaper believes that what happened to Yahya Sinwar has turned him into a great legendary figure.

According to the quantity and type of content and keywords published in cyberspace, since Yahya Sinwar's martyrdom, his popularity has been increasing rapidly in the global arena, especially after the publication of videos of his martyrdom by the Israeli regime.

Some believe that Yahya Sinwar's growing popularity is due to a series of events that shape the creation of legends. Iranian analyst Seyyed Ataollah Mohajerani wrote:

The Holy Quran narrates the conversation between God and Moses (PBUH). In ten occasions and verses where the Quran mentions the staff, all of them refer to Moses' staff. Despite its great fame, Solomon's staff (PBUH) is not mentioned in the verses.

In Surah Taha, verses 17 to 21, the topic of Moses' staff and its application is discussed: "Moses What is in your right hand?" He said, "This is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I throw down branches for my sheep. I have other benefits from it too!" He said, "Moses Throw your staff!" He threw it, and it moved like a snake. He said, "Take it, and do not be afraid. We will return it to its original form."

When Yahya Sinwar, with his wounded body and bright, intelligent eyes, threw his the cane at the Israeli army in the last moments of his life, under the rubble of the bombing, the army that resembles Pharaoh's behavior in oppression and child-killing, I immediately thought: "What is in your right hand, O Yahya?" History has come a short way from Moses to Yahya, from Pharaoh to Netanyahu, from Moses' staff to Yahya's staff. The miracle of Moses has come alive in a different form before us. The myth has become a reality.

Mahmoud Darwish, who Emil Habibi, a prominent Palestinian novelist, called "the prophet of the word" in his novel "Al-Mutashael", wrote in a poem:

"After this, there is no need for myths. What happens in myths is happening to us now!"

Yahya Sinwar has become a legend, like Arash the Archer in Iranian literature and mythology. Palestinian children and teenagers sit on a single chair in the ruins, put their feet on their feet, smile, and hold a cane in their hand. This means Yahya Sinwar is still alive and inspiring.

In the war of narratives, powerful Zionist propaganda networks and supporters of Israel constantly say: Israel has the right to defend itself. The war is against terrorism. The war is between civilization and savagery. The war is between civilization and backwardness. The narrative that is repeated every moment. Netanyahu said at the recent UN meeting: "He is speaking the truth." Gantz, the Israeli minister of war, says: "Their war is just."

They never mention the word Palestine or Palestinians. They think Palestine is finished and their narrative has become widespread. Suddenly, the al-Aqsa Storm happened on October 7, and more than a year later, Yahya Sinwar, who was said to be hiding in tunnels, said to have used Palestinian hostages and children as human shields to save his life.

He appeared in a house with a military uniform in front of the Israeli army and threw his cane at the invading army in his last symbolic jihad. The legend is born. They wanted to belittle him, but he stood at the peak of dignity, honor, courage, and martyrdom.
