AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli occupation forces continued their bloody war on Lebanon for the 36th consecutive day on Monday, launching more airstrikes, artillery shelling, and ground incursions into several border villages.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that three citizens were martyred and two others injured due to the targeting of a house in the Raml neighborhood of Tyre, southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that 2,672 martyrs have been reported, with 12,468 Lebanese citizens injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the country on October 8, 2023.
The Ministry of Health also noted that Israeli occupation forces have killed 168 paramedics and injured 275 since the onset of the aggression. It pointed out that the Israeli air strike on a health emergency center in the town of Ain Ba’al killed seven citizens, including paramedics and a nurse, with 24 others injured in an updated count.
Fourteen citizens were martyred and 39 others injured in two Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Harat Sidon and Al-Burj Al-Shamali on Sunday. Five martyrs fell due to an Israeli strike on the village of Al-Burj Al-Shamali.
Israeli airstrikes and shelling
On Monday morning, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the vicinity of the town of Zibqin, the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, and the town of Shamsar in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that three citizens were martyred and two others injured due to the targeting of a house in the Raml neighborhood of Tyre.
Lebanese media noted that enemy warplanes bombed a residential building in the city of Tyre early Monday. It was mentioned that a series of Israeli airstrikes targeted the Ali al-Tahir heights in Nabatiyeh and the area between Nabatiyeh and Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese sources reported that Israeli aircraft carried out a strike on the town of Babliyeh in the Saida district of southern Lebanon. Last night, Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of the town of Al-Qatrani with at least two strikes, as well as another strike on the town of Al-Housh.
Lebanese media reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a fierce airstrike targeting the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon and struck the town of Kfar Hammam, while they bombed the city of Al-Khayyam three times. The Israeli warplanes bombed the town of Al-Bazourieh, the outskirts of Babliyeh in Nabatiyeh, and the vicinity of the town of Haboush in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah counterattacks
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced, since early Monday morning, a series of operations in which Hezbollah fighters targeted several Israeli military sites in southern Lebanon and northern Israel. Hezbollah said in several military announcements that the resistance fighters targeted, for the third time, an enemy troops gathering at the Fatima Gate with a missile barrage.
The Islamic Resistance targeted Israeli soldiers gathering between the settlements of “Al-Manara” and “Margalit” with missile barrages on two occasions. Over the past 24 hours, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon executed 29 operations and attacks against Israeli military targets and others targeting settlements and barracks in northern Israel and southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah carried out an aerial attack with a swarm of kamikaze drones on the “Yodifot” military industry company in the Bar-Lev industrial area southeast of Akko. It targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers with missile barrages and kamikaze drones in the settlements of: Al-Malikiah, Karmiel, Margalit, Al-Manara (three times), Be’er Ya’akov, Misgav Am (twice), Nahariya, and Yad Eliezer.
The Islamic Resistance bombarded occupation forces and gatherings of Israeli soldiers with missile barrages, kamikaze drones, and artillery shells at the northern entrance of the Marj site, at the Fatima Gate, and at the outskirts of the town of Aitaroun (twice), south of the town of Dahira, in Khela Naif at the outskirts of the town of Hula.
It continued, “The Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force in the town of Hula with a guided missile, in addition to bombarding the Ibla outpost, the Zawara position, and the Zofolun military industry base north of Haifa.”
The Islamic Resistance’s air defense unit intercepted Israeli warplanes in the skies of the western sector and a “Hermes 900” drone with surface-to-air missiles, forcing it to leave Lebanese airspace. An attack was launched with kamikaze drones on the settlements of: Kfar Yuval, Sa’sa, Zar’it, and Shomera.
Hezbollah issued an urgent warning early Monday to settlers in the Kiryat Shmona settlement, similar to warnings given to other settlements in northern Israel, calling for their “immediate evacuation.”
The warning text, published by Hezbollah on its official Instagram page early Monday, read, “To the residents of the Kiryat Shmona settlement, you must evacuate immediately.”
Hezbollah published warnings for residents of several settlements in northern Israel to evacuate, “after they became places where the Israeli army is stationed and attacks Lebanon.” Hezbollah had previously issued a video through the military media of the Islamic Resistance, ordering evacuations for several settlements and demanding their residents to leave.
It warned: “By doing so, they have become legitimate military targets for the air and missile forces of the Islamic Resistance.”
