AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Holy Quran is a pioneer in promoting relations among monotheistic faiths, an Iranian official said.
Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization’s (ICRO) International Quran and Propagation Center Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri made the remark during a visit to the University of Quranic Sciences in Jakarta, Indonesia.
He said that the Quran calls for establishing ties among monotheistic religions to prevent discord.
The Holy Book introduces monotheism as the pivot of global unity, he stated.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri underlined the need for studying and developing the Quranic diplomacy.
In today’s world, which is facing various social, political, military, and cultural crises, the unifying Quranic diplomacy can make the voice of the Holy Book resound in the Muslim world and among humanity as a whole, he said.
The reason for enmity with Islam and the Quran is that the arrogant powers are afraid of the spread of the Quranic movement and demonstrate their fear through Islamophobia, he went on to say.
The ICRO official also said that given the need for Quranic training and conveying the Quranic values to future generations, investing in the field of education is necessary.
During the visit, Najma al-Faeza, the president of the University of Quranic Sciences in Jakarta, called for boosting Quranic ties between Iran and Indonesia.
The two sides also discussed using the academic capacities of the two countries to enhance Quranic activities.
