Activists call him the oldest political prisoner in Europe because he has been detained in a prison in the southwest of France for 40 years. George Ibrahim Abdullah has become known as the Mandela of the Arab world because of his opposition to the racist policies of the West in the Middle East. George Abdallah, who is an international fighter, has been arrested in France since 1984 and convicted of the crime of allegedly participating in an assassination operation. He has completed his sentence and has been waiting for release since 1999.
