AhlulBayt News Agency: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 8 citizens and injuries to 25 others in an Israeli attack that targeted a building in Haret Saida in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
Lebanese media sources reported that two airstrikes hit a residential neighborhood in Haret Saida, where more than 17,000 displaced individuals from southern Lebanese villages are taking refuge.
Prior to this massacre, 3 people were martyred after an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle west of Baalbek, and another massacre occurred in the town of Taffaha, southern Lebanon, where 3 children and their parents were killed.
In Jadida Marjayoun, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that an Israeli airstrike last night resulted in the martyrdom of 5 individuals and recorded injuries, while 3 more martyrs were reported in an airstrike on Zawtar al-Sharqiya in the Nabatieh governorate.
Al-Mayadeen channel reported that a series of Israeli airstrikes hit the towns of Barachit, Ainat, Haris, Majdel Silim, Shuhur, Qalila, Burj al-Shamali, Samia, Deir Qanun Ras al-Ain, Deir Kifa, Blat, Sha’itiyah, and the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
Israeli warplanes also conducted airstrikes on the town of Qaqaiyat Al-Jisr in the Nabatieh district, leading to one martyr and several injuries. Additionally, the aircraft carried out a violent strike targeting the town of Samia south of Tyre.
The aggression against the town of Al-Duwayr shortly after midnight resulted in the complete destruction of a citizen’s home in the Al-Rous neighborhood after it was targeted by Israeli warplanes, causing significant damage to surrounding homes.
The aerial assault on the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa at midnight also led to major destruction in the Al-Saha neighborhood near the Hussaini Club, which contains old heritage homes, completely destroying them and turning the targeted area into rubble and ruin.
According to official Lebanese data, the toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has risen to 2,653 martyrs and 12,360 injured.
