AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Photos of a Tunisian professional football player reading the Quran on board an airplane have gone viral in social media.
Alaa Ghram plays as a central defender for Ukrainian Premier League Club Shakhtar Donetsk and the Tunisia national team.
The photos of the 22-year-old player’s Quran reading were posted on the Ukrainian team’s official page in Facebook.
They were taken during a trip by the team to London to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League.
The post got more than 20,000 likes in a short time, according to Bayan-gate website.
Social media users praised Ghram for paying attention to spiritual affairs before the important match against Arsenal.
