AhlulBayt News Agency: Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has said that it proudly received reports of the recent Dead Sea operation, describing it as “heroic” and “promising.”
“The commandership of al-Qassam Brigades received the reports of the remarkable Dead Sea operation with great pride. It is a bold and heroic operation that once again strengthened the promising prospects of the Jordanian front,” spokesman for the Brigades Abu Obeida said in remarks on Sunday.
“The martyrs Husam Abu Ghazaleh and Amer Qawwas are among the heroes of ‘Al-Aqsa Flood,’ and they will remain an inspiring example for the brave people of Jordan and its free tribes, who are known for their admirable positions and extraordinary heroism,” Abu Obeida added.
Abu Ghazaleh and Qawwas crossed last Friday from Jordan into the Dead Sea area near the illegal settlement of Neot HaKikar before they were martyred following an exchange of fire with Israeli soldiers. Two soldiers were reportedly injured in the shooting operation.
