AhlulBayt News Agency: The relief and support division of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to collect food aid for the Lebanese people through its units deployed in the provinces.
"The units of the relief and support division of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine are collecting foodstuffs from donors in the governorates of Iraq, as 19 relief units are deployed to cover various areas,"said Yasser Aqeel, one of the division's staff.
He added that "these units are responsible for collecting relief materials from donors, processions and Husseini bodies and sending them to the division's headquarters in the Al-Alqami complex and then to the main warehouses of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, to be examined, sorted and packed accurately, before being sent through the convoys of the Holy Shrine to the Lebanese people and displaced families in Syria".
This initiative comes within the framework of the humanitarian efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese people and support them in the face of the repercussions of the recent Zionist aggressions, in response to the directives of the supreme religious authority in Najaf.
