AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Local media in the Zionist regime published a picture in which Ayatollah Seyyed Ali al-Sistani was included in the regime's assassination target list. The Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) World Assembly issued a statement condemning this inhumane act.
Following the publication of a video in which Grand Ayatollah Sistani was included as one of the targets of the assassination of this sinister and criminal Zionist regime, the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) issued the following statement:

The defeat of the Zionist regime during the proud operations of Al-Aqsa Storm and True Promise carried out by resistance forces caused the anger of this regime, even against the religious leaders; in addition to their brutal actions, war crimes and assassination of the resistance leaders, the Zionist regime tried to cover up its failures by insulting and threatening religious authorities.
Insulting the Shia authority in the media affiliated with the Zionist regime, especially the Grand Ayatollah Sistani, is an insult to the pure feelings of all Muslims and freedom seekers in the world, and this criminal and abusive regime, with these brazen actions, does not adhere to international laws and moral standards, hence commits shameless and vicious stupidity.
This deliberate provocative action harmed the feelings of millions of Muslims, for whom religious authority is a symbol of their unity and moderation, since religious authority has always been a pillar of security for the Muslim community, and the Islamic Ummah will continue the proud path of fighting against Zionism and global arrogance.
The World Assembly of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, strongly condemns the insult to the eminent position of Shia sources of emulation, which is respected by all Muslims and freedom-seekers, especially Shiites, and warns that such actions cause even more scandal to the usurper Zionist regime and strengthen the will of Muslims to fight.
The World Assembly of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, together with Islamic nations and humanitarian and anti-arrogance organizations, condemns this anti-human, anti-faith and violent act, and demands decisive and deterrent punishment for all its perpetrators.
Undoubtedly, the Muslim people of the world and Islamic organizations all over the world have courageously and vigilantly used all legal, political, and media capacities to condemn this regime and punish criminals and perpetrators, to fulfill their Shariah, legal and humanitarian duties and they will not give up.
The divine will emphasizes the completion of the light and righteousness of pure Islam, the victory of the oppressed over the arrogant, and the final liberation of the Holy Quds and the usurped Islamic lands, and without a doubt, God's promise will be fulfilled with the help of the believers.
