The Relief Committee of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the provision of more than 750 food baskets daily to the displaced Lebanese in Syria.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Relief Committee of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the provision of more than 750 food baskets daily to the displaced Lebanese in Syria.

The head of the delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine to Syria; Sayed Nafi al-Moussawi, said: "the Relief Committee provides more than 750 complete food baskets for Lebanese families displaced to Syria as a result of the Zionist aggressions."

He added that"the holy shrine has set up a main warehouse with an area exceeding 10 thousand square meters, equipped to store relief materials safely and air-conditioned to ensure their quality until they are distributed, as well as the establishment of a central kitchen that provides more than 15 thousand meals a day for the displaced Lebanese with three main meals".

"The distribution mechanism of food baskets is carried out according to an organized method that relies on contractors, each of whom distributes them to displaced residents in shelter centers, to ensure that food support reaches everyone regularly,"he added.

The holy shrine has started providing medical services to the Lebanese displaced in Syria through a special field hospital equipped with all necessary medicines and supplies, as well as providing places to shelter the displaced and renting many hotels to accommodate them.

In the previous days, the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine sent three convoys of humanitarian aid, including thousands of tons of food, medicine, fuel, water, and necessary supplies needed by the Lebanese people, and is now preparing to launch the fourth convoy.

The holy shrine is keen to provide support and assistance to the Lebanese people, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority and in solidarity with the Lebanese people in their current crisis, to do what contributes to alleviating their suffering and securing their humanitarian needs.
