AhlulBayt News Agency: A horde of extremist Jewish settlers and Israeli soldiers carried out on Monday morning attacks on Palestinian farmers as they were collecting olives in their groves in the towns of Qusra and Beit Furik in the south and east of Nablus.
According to local sources, a number of settlers escorted by soldiers brutalized olive farmers during their presence in their grove in Qusra town and opened fire at them. Luckily, no one was hurt in the settler attack.
Yesterday, settlers attacked olive farmers and destroyed dozens of olive trees in the same area of Qusra town.
In Beit Furik town, Israeli soldiers forced olive farmers to leave their own lands at gunpoint and threatened to arrest them if they returned to the area to harvest crops.
For several days, the Israeli occupation forces have been preventing local farmers in Beit Furik town from reaching their groves to harvest olives.
