AhlulBayt News Agency: According to a report published in al-Mayadeen network, Israel has been using uranium bombs in Gaza for a year and has been pouring them on the Lebanese people for a few days.
Since September 23, the Zionist regime's army has repeatedly bombed southern Lebanon.
News sources have reported that the colors emitted from some explosions caused by the Zionist regime's attacks in Gaza and Lebanon are between orange and yellow, indicating the use of bombs containing a large amount of low-enriched uranium.
In a statement by Lebanese chemists, it is stated: The volume and depth of destruction of buildings in Beirut indicate the use of bombs containing depleted uranium, which have a wide range of penetration and infiltration.
These banned bombs, especially in densely populated Beirut, have caused severe destruction, and the dust generated by them causes many diseases, especially when inhaled. Depleted uranium causes severe damage to humans and the environment.
The Lebanese chemists' syndicate has also asked the people not to approach areas that have been exposed to these attacks within a radius of two kilometers, and those who are forced to approach these areas to wear special anti-dust clothing and masks for chemical materials.
Rouhollah Rizvi, an independent journalist based in Lebanon, said: "Two areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut that were destroyed by bunker-busting bombs are contaminated with depleted uranium, and there is a ban on traffic within a radius of two kilometers."
Al-Mayadeen TV network had previously reported on the Zionist regime's use of depleted uranium bombs in Gaza and Lebanon and its impact on the people.
The network announced in this report that the colors emitted from some explosions caused by Israel's attacks in Gaza and Lebanon, which are between orange and yellow, do not indicate ordinary explosions, but rather bombs containing a large amount of low-enriched uranium.
According to the published report, Israel has been using this type of bomb in Gaza for a year and has been pouring them on the Lebanese people for a few days.
Based on investigations, these are "MK-84" bombs, which weigh 2,000 pounds or 907 kilograms.
