AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented on Sunday a number of Palestinian farmers from reaching their lands in southern al-Khalil.
According to local sources, the IOF barred farmers in Dura town from going to olive groves belonging to them in the areas of Khilat Taha and al-Abed to harvest crops.
In a separate incident, swaths of land caught fire in Tal village in western Nablus when Israeli soldiers showered local farmers with tear gas canisters.
Farmers said that they had to leave their olive groves, which started to flare up, because of the intensity of the tear gas attack.
Earlier in the morning, Israeli soldiers savagely assaulted a farmer from the same village as he was going to a grove to collect olives.
