AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Modarresi has called on all Muslims to fulfill their religious and humanitarian responsibilities in providing aid to the people of Lebanon.
Senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Modarresi, during a speech in his office in Karbala, among a large number of pilgrims, called on all of them to fulfill their religious and humanitarian responsibilities in providing relief to the people of Lebanon, especially the immigrants. He also asked people to be diligent in providing all the necessary facilities.
He added that believers have a serious responsibility towards their brothers who are facing the conditions of war and forced displacement from their homes.
Ayatollah Modarresi pointed out the levels of responsibility for this issue and its consequences, and on helping the oppressed and expressing sympathy with the displaced and the injured, and setting up gatherings of supplication, prayer and zikr to remove this sadness from all the Islamic Ummah, especially the countries that are under occupation.
This Iraqi scholar added,” Everyone, according to their position and ability, should try to provide the necessary services, including shelter and providing the necessities of life.”
He called for serious planning to reform the society, prepare it, strengthen oneself and work in the way of God to face the challenges.
Ayatollah Modarresi also asked the scholars and missionaries to fulfill their responsibility in calling the believers to fulfill their duties in this direction and asked the owners of the processions and Husayniyya to provide Hussaini services to the believers who come to Iraq.
