AhlulBayt News Agency: Following his visit to Beirut, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament met with his Lebanese counterpart on Saturday amid the Israeli regime's aggression on the Lebanese territories.
Just after his return from Tajikistan on Friday, Mohamad-Bagher Ghalibaf left Tehran for Beirut the next day to have consolations with the Lebanese authorities about what was going on in Lebanon.
The Israeli regime has launched an aggression on southern Lebanon since October 8, 2023, which culminated in the two recent weeks with the Israeli regime's assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement.
He told reporters in a news conference that the Iranian nation and government were ready to send immediate aid to the war-hit people of Lebanon in case the Lebanese government prepared an aerial corridor for the transport.
Ghalibaf stressed that the Islamic Republic would do support the Lebanese nation, government, and Resistance in different areas.
Prior to his meeting with Nabih Berri, the Speaker of Lebanon's Parliament, Ghalibaf met with the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and visited the Israeli-hit Southern Dahiya and Al-Basta in western Beirut.
Ghalibaf will leave Beirut for Geneva this evening to participate in the International Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPU) which begins tomorrow, where an important part of the speaker's meetings and speeches will take place.
Elaborating on the crimes of the Israeli regime and declaring support for the resistance groups against the regime and its crimes will be on his agenda to convey the message of the Lebanese and Palestinian people to the world.
