After a year of sinking in Gaza quagmire, the Israeli regime is now struggling in Lebanon's quick sands and its forges and tanks are being endeavored by the plans the Hezbollah forces prepared for such days. Now, Israel's madness is at its height due to back-to-back defeats, pushing it to further mistakes.
The war waged by the Israeli regime against several fronts is the longest war since its establishment in 1948, and despite the use of AI and other technologies, the Israeli army, helped by the US and Britain, not only did not guarantee the security of the settlers, but also it unleashed against itself a massive wave of threats as Gaza war enters its second year, leaving the Israeli leaders heavily perplexed.
New round of attacks from Gaza on the first war anniversary
Although the Israeli officials claimed that they have destroyed all the military infrastructure of Hamas in the past one year and that this movement can no longer pose a serious threat to the security of the settlers, contrary to the calculations of the leaders of Tel Aviv, Al-Qassam Brigades as the military wing of Hamas have started a new round of missile attacks against the occupied territories on the anniversary of the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
In the latest development, Al-Qassam announced on Tuesday that they blew up an Israeli army personnel carrier with a bomb near the building of the Beitna Institute west of the Jabalia Refugee Camp in northern Gaza. These brigades also destroyed a Merkava 4 tank in the west of Jabalia.
Al-Qassam also announced on Monday that they targeted Tel Aviv with M90 missiles. The resistance group also hit the Soufa military base, an Israeli forces' concentration at Rafah border crossing, and an operation center at the Karam Abu Salem military base with short-range 114-mm rockets. The Israeli army also acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers and the wounding of another in the ongoing battles with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza's north.
The new round of Palestinian attacks on the anniversary of the Gaza war comes as the Israeli officials have repeatedly claimed that they cleared northern Gaza of Hamas fighters, but the firing of rockets from this area shows that the Palestinian resistance has reorganized itself fast and is ready for a long battle.
Power of Hezbollah missiles in Tel Aviv and Haifa
The longer the Gaza war, the wider the anti-Israeli fronts. Even though Hezbollah stood by people of Gaza from the very beginning of Hamas’s operation and started its daily attacks against the north of the occupied territories, in recent days, it stepped up its attacks for revenge of assassination of its top leader and commander, striking hard sensitive and vital Israeli sites on the anniversary of the war.
"We targeted the Glilot military base operated by Unit 8200 of the military intelligence on the outskirts of Tel Aviv with a missile," a Hezbollah statement said. The attack on this base came within the framework of the Operation Khaybar in response to Israeli attacks on civilians and with "Layabaik ya Nasrallah" codename.
Hezbollah announced in a statement on Monday that the "Islamic resistance fired a Fadi-1 missile at the Carmel base in southern Haifa." The Israeli police confirmed that 10 people were injured as a result of Hezbollah rockets hitting Haifa. Israeli media, citing an army spokesman, confirmed that none of the missiles, which were aimed directly at the city, were intercepted.
Hezbollah on Thursday stated that it struck Haifa and Kriyot with 100 missiles. Hebrew media described missile barrage at Haifa as the heaviest attack since war started in Gaza, targeting the city infrastructure and streets and leaving a number of Israelis injured.
Hezbollah also targeted the Galilee on the Lebanese border with rocket attacks, in which several Israelis were killed and wounded. Additionally, following the unprecedented Hezbollah missile attack on Tel Aviv on Monday evening, the Hebrew media have been in an unprecedented panic, calling the attacks on the center of occupied Palestine unprecedented, in such a way that they considered the simultaneous missile attacks from Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen to be unusual and surprising to Israel. They reacted by wondering if these strikes are the beginning of a new wave of attacks on Tel Aviv.
According to most of the published estimates, with the opening of a second front in the north, a catastrophic scenario is unfolding for Israel. This complex situation poses a major problem regarding the ability of the occupiers to manage this kind of dual conflict, especially given the military and economic exhaustion caused by the ongoing operations in the Gaza front.
Reviving deterrence against Hezbollah, which is stronger, better armed, and more experienced than Hamas, is more of a fantasy given the range of factors affecting Israeli ability to do so. Hezbollah has tens of thousands of advanced, accurate and long-range missiles that can reach most of the occupied territories.
Yemeni and Iraqi fronts go more active
Following the new Israeli adventures, the resistance groups in Yemen have broadened their attacks on Israel in fulfillment of wider support promise to Lebanon and Gaza. General Yahya Saree, the spokesman to the Yemeni armed forces, announced two more military operations in occupied Palestine on Monday night. "Palestine-2 and Dhulfaghar missiles were used in the first operation against Tel Aviv," he said. Saree continued: "In the second operation, we used a number of Yaffa and Samad-4 drones to destroy several targets in Eilat."
Also, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen's Ansarullah warned Tel Aviv leaders that "in the coming days, you will be targeted with hypersonic missiles so that you will taste what the people of Palestine have tasted."
In recent weeks, the Yemenis have targeted areas deep in the occupied territories using ballistic and hypersonic missiles, further rattling Tel Aviv leaders. The important issue in the operations of the resistance groups deep into the occupied territories in recent weeks is that many rockets have hit their targets passing through the air defense systems, causing panic among the Israeli citizens.
In addition to Yemen, resistance groups in Iraq have announced that in their latest anti-Israeli operation, they on Tuesday hit 5 targets in central and northern Israel in separate operations. They also struck a region in Israel using a drone on the anniversary of October 7.
The most noteworthy point in the latest operations of the resistance groups is the attacks on the centers that are the military and economic arteries of Israel. Some of these centers play a key role in the process of war against the Axis of Resistance and targeting them will deal a big blow to the occupation.
Significance of Glilot military base
One of the strategic Israeli centers have came under attack in recent days is Glilot base. This base is the headquarter of the intelligence department of the Israeli army known as Aman and the headquarters of important units such as the Unit 8200 that is responsible for signal and cyber intelligence and the Unit 9900 that is responsible for visual intelligence. This base is located in the Ramat Sharon neighborhood near the city of Herzliya, northeast of the Glilot intersection, 1.5 kilometers from Tel Aviv and about 110 kilometers from the Palestinian-Lebanon border. Mossad headquarters and military academies in Dayan base, the Intelligence Heritage Center and a memorial site for dead personnel of the IDF intelligence units, are near the base.
Unit 8200 is responsible for leading electronic warfare in the Israeli army. This unit has played a key role in cyber war against Iran's nuclear program. Hebrew reports say the unit also played an important role in targeting Hezbollah leaders and members by planting explosives in pagers last month. It is also believed to have played an important role in locating Hezbollah leaders as it taps phones and other mobile devices and spies on social media.
So, its targeting by Hezbollah means that the Lebanese resistance movement has dealt a hard and big blow to the Israeli military.
Haifa, the economic artery of Israel
As the commercial and industrial hub of Israel, Haifa has been targeted by Hezbollah missiles. The importance of this city lies in the fact that it is home to international and domestic chemical factories, including Bazan, one of the largest oil refining facilities of Israel. Also, this city is considered one of the main advanced technology centers of the Israel and includes large and new companies that focus on the development of innovative technologies. Haifa port acts as an important maritime trade center and is the point of entry and exit of many goods. In addition, the port serves as a base for maritime industries.
There are several large companies in Haifa producing metals and parts for various industries. This city is home to prominent academic institutions such as Technion Institute of Technology, which contributes to various research and development centers to improve many areas of technology and home industries and innovation. Haifa also hosts several food and drinks companies that supply to both local and foreign markets.
So, if the Resistance camp's joint operations room expands its missile operations to Haifa, Israel's economy will be paralyzed and irreparable blows will be dealt to the regime. This issue can put the leaders of Tel Aviv in dire straits at a time when Ansarullah zeroed Israeli navigation in the Red Sea and led to shutdown of Eilat port in solidarity with Gaza.
Galilee, the center of military activities
Although the Israeli regime tries to keep its military infrastructure and economic activities away from the resistance groups' reach, some sensitive centers of this regime are located near the borders of Lebanon and Syria, making the the occupiers more vulnerable in times of crisis. One of these regions is Galilee, which houses Israel's sensitive infrastructure and industries.
Israeli shipbuilding industries, including military ships, Sa'ar 4 and 5 frigates, Schildag patrol ships, and small-size Model-72 frigates are based in this city. Also, large companies producing military aircraft parts, the only factory producing electro-optical detectors for military industries, development and production of Iron Dome air defense systems center, cyber activities, AI and metadata, supply of raw materials for aerospace and defense industries, communication systems, military systems and metal sheet processing for military vehicles, artillery systems and ammunition, aircraft refueling units and armored vehicles industries are located in Galilee. The army bases in Mount Meron, which is regarded as the spying eye of this regime in the region, are located in Galilee.
Therefore, if Hezbollah wants to fulfill its promises and break into Galilee, then many important Israeli companies will suffer great damages and weapons production and defense industries will face a great challenge.
As a conclusion, it can be said that after Operation
Al-Aqsa Storm, Israeli army sustained big and unprecedented losses,
especially after war spread to include other actors like Lebanon, Iran,
Iraq, and Yemen, with large consequences. At the military level, the
infighting of military command due to the failure to achieve the stated
goals in Gaza and the suffering more casualties on the battleground will
lead to an escalation of tensions between the political and military
officials in Tel Aviv. Actually, the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm and the
power of the Resistance camp's branches, especially Lebanon, have
disclosed the occupation's weaknesses, translating on the ground the
historic sentence of the late Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan
Nasrallah who said "Israel is weaker than the spider's web."
