AhlulBayt News Agency: Noor Al-Kafeel company participated in the relief campaign of the Lebanese people, in response to the appeal of the supreme religious authority in Najaf.
The director of development and media at the company, Mr. Mohammed Al-Attar, said that "Nour al-Kafeel company, in cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, took the initiative to operate the mechanisms and provide the necessary foodstuffs in order to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese people, in addition to sending the necessary humanitarian and medical assistance".
"The support included the transfer of relief convoys from the warehouses of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to Syria, to provide a helping hand to the Lebanese displaced people in Syria,"he added.
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has sent three large convoys loaded with hundreds of tons of food and medical aid, in addition to equipping a field hospital and another mobile hospital with a team of specialized doctors in order to provide health care to the needy in the affected areas, and a central kitchen was established to prepare food for displaced families in shelter centers spread in Syria and Lebanon.
