AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation army continues its bloody war on Lebanon for the 18th consecutive day, launching more air and artillery strikes, as well as ongoing attempts to advance on the ground into towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
Four people were martyred and a fifth injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Budai, east of Baalbek.
This Thursday morning, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on the city of Khiam and an attack on the town of Qana in the Tyre region of southern Lebanon. Additionally, Israeli warplanes struck the heights of the town of Janta near the Lebanese-Syrian border in eastern Lebanon.
They also targeted the town of Dhahira in the western sector of southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Civil Defense reported last night the martyrdom of five of its staff members in an Israeli airstrike on one of its centers in the town of Dardghiya in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the number of casualties from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 2,141 martyrs and 10,099 injured since the start of the occupation’s attacks on October 8 of last year.
Since September 23, Israel has been waging war on Lebanon through unprecedented airstrikes in intensity and bloodshed, targeting even the capital, Beirut, alongside a ground invasion that began in the south, disregarding international warnings and UN resolutions.
Since that date until Wednesday evening, Israel has killed 1,323 people and injured 3,698 others, including a large number of children and women, in addition to over 1.2 million displaced persons, according to the Lebanese government.
