AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The deputy Secretary-General of Bahrain’s al-Wefaq National Islamic Society described the Palestinians’ Al-Aqsa Flood Operation against the Zionist regime as an epic of heroism and resistance.
In a post on his X account on the first anniversary of the operation, Sheikh Hussein Al-Dihi said it is an epic that has been registered with letters of light on the pages of the Arab and Islamic history.
The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation which began in the depth of the holy land, turned into a symbol of heroism, bravery and salvation, he stated.
It was not just a brief military confrontation, but rather the manifestation of the spirit of resistance and the insistence on regaining human dignity and liberation of Palestine, he wrote.
Al-Dihi added that the operation was a turning point in the conflicts over the issue of Palestine as it changed the political and military equations and revealed the fragility of an enemy that claimed to be invincible.
Over the past year, we have witnessed how the Israeli regime has face one defeat after another and how it has failed to achieve its goal of eliminating resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, he stated.
The resistance in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon has managed to impose a new equation based on which the enemy receives a painful response for any act of aggression, he said.
The Al-Wefaq deputy chief went on to say that the operation proved that victory is not just in immediate military achievements but in steadfastness and insistence on rights.
He also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives so that the flame of resistance continues to burn, including Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, who proved the sincerity of the Lebanese resistance.
Al-Dihi underlined the responsibility of the Muslim Ummah to support the Islamic resistance in all aspects.
The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation was a surprise operation that saw Hamas and its fellow Gaza Strip-based Palestinian resistance movement of the Islamic Jihad storming the occupied Palestinian territories and taking more than 240 Israelis captive on October 7, 2023.
The Israeli regime brought Gaza under a genocidal war in response. The war has so far claimed the lives of nearly 42,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children. However, the regime has not been able to realize its objectives through force.
