Secretary General of Al-Abbas Shrine meets with displaced Lebanese families to Karbala (+Photos)

The secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, met with the Lebanese families displaced to the city of Karbala as a result of the recent attacks on the Lebanese people.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, met with the Lebanese families displaced to the city of Karbala as a result of the recent attacks on the Lebanese people.

"Under the direct guidance of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, we conducted a visit to the Lebanese families who came to the holy city of Karbala to find out their needs, listen to their requirements and provide them with the necessary support,"said Aal Dia-Uddin.

He added that " the visit comes in response to the invitation of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs, after the recent attacks.

The Secretary General explained that "the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine has formed specialized committees to meet the needs of the displaced, starting from receiving them, providing housing, meeting their food, living and medical needs, in addition to sending a relief delegation to Syria to provide food and medical assistance to the Lebanese displaced there and to ensure the treatment of the wounded who were subjected to this barbaric attack".

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared its service complexes to receive displaced families, after they have been equipped with all the necessary supplies they may need, starting from accommodation, food and water, to health care and psychological support.

The holy shrine sent three convoys with thousands of tons of food and medical aid, in addition to equipping a field hospital and another mobile hospital, including a team of doctors, and establishing a central kitchen to prepare food for displaced families in shelter centers scattered in the affected areas.
