AhlulBayt News Agency: Thousands of Sunni clerics in a letter expressed gratitude to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and the Iranian armed forces after a recent successful retaliatory missile attack the IRGC launched against Israeli military targets.
The letter, signed by 3,000 Iranian Sunni clerics, lauded the brave Islamic Revolution Guards Corps forces for targeting the heart of the occupied territories under the wise and strong guidance of Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Sunni clergymen also praised the Leader for his enlightening sermons in the Friday prayer of Tehran on October 4.
The clerics expressed heartfelt gratitude to the IRGC for carrying out the successful ‘True Promise II’ operation against the Israeli regime, saying the strike cheered up the defenseless people of Palestine and the families of martyrs of resistance.
On October 1, Iran responded to the Israeli assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan by launching as many as 200 ballistic missiles toward the Zionist regime’s military and intelligence bases all over the occupied Palestinian territories.
While the Zionist regime has threatened to retaliate, Iranian officials have warned that Tehran’s reciprocal response to any Israeli action will be harsh, proportional and well-calculated.
