AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A large number of Iranian medical experts have voice their readiness to go to Lebanon to serve the people of the Arab country amid an aggression by the Zionist regime, an official said.
Pir Hossein Koulivand, the head of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said that more than 7,000 medics and experts in different medical fields have volunteered to be sent to Lebanon.
They are ready to go to the Arab country and join the efforts to help the war-stricken people there, he stated.
Koulivand also noted that during the past ten days, the Iranian people have raised 40 billion rials for the Iranian Red Crescent Society to help the people of the Gaza Strip, Yemen and Lebanon.
A wave of Israeli airstrikes across large parts of Lebanon have killed hundreds of people, including women and children, over the past few weeks.
Many people have also been displaced as a result of the Israeli regime's aggression.
