AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has delivered a scathing condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, likening him to a "modern-day Hitler" and calling for serious international intervention.
Baghaei denounced Israel's genocide in Lebanon and Palestine, saying that the Zionist regime is committing war crimes against civilians.
In a press conference on Sunday, Baghaei condemned the Israeli airstrikes on a mosque in Gaza, where displaced civilians had sought refuge, as well as the bombing of residential areas in southern Beirut’s Dahiyeh. He stressed that these atrocities were being carried out using U.S.-provided weaponry. These crimes, he noted, are reminiscent of Daesh's brutal attacks, targeting religious sites, schools, mosques, and medical centers.
Baghaei went further, asserting that the slaughter of innocent civilians and the destruction of vital infrastructure reflect the ideology shared by Zionist forces and Takfiri terrorists. He called the relentless genocide against Palestinians a blatant war crime and a crime against humanity.
The Iranian spokesman warned that Netanyahu's policies, aimed at destabilizing the region, pose a grave threat not only to West Asia but to global peace. He urged the international community to act decisively, saying that failure to confront this so-called "modern-day Hitler" could lead to irreparable consequences for nations both within and beyond the region.
