AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Jordanians have participated in solidarity marches in support of the Palestinian resistance as the anniversary of Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip approaches.
Thousands of people took to the streets of the capital Amman and other cities after Friday prayers to express their support for the people of Gaza and the West Bank.
They chanted against the US support for Israel’s crimes and slammed the international community’s inaction on the regime’s continuous massacres and the targeting of civilians in Gaza.
The protesters condemned the blockade preventing the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to Gaza.
Secretary General of the Islamic Action Front Wael al-Saqqa said, “The Zionist project is in decline, no goal of the Zionist entity has been achieved, neither politically nor militarily.”
He added that Israel is trying to cover its loss by attacking the West Bank, southern Lebanon, and civilians with its crimes.
He emphasized, “The (Israeli) entity will explode internally, and in its second year, the Al-Aqsa Storm will enter into the signs of victory through the defeat of this occupation forever, Inshallah.”
Abdel-Majeed Dandis, a member of the Popular Unity Party, said, “Our message today on the anniversary of October 7 is that the resistance is fully prepared to continue the confrontation with the (Israeli) entity.”

The Jordanian demonstrators also denounced Israel’s ongoing aerial and artillery bombardments on Lebanon.
Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 2023, when it launched the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has been responding to the aggression with numerous retaliatory operations, targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.
