The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, warned against the likelihood of repetition of mistake by Israel. Pezeshkian, wrote on his personal account of X social network, "Let Netanyahu know that Iran is not warmongering, but it stands decisively against any threat. This [Operation True Promise 2] was just a bit of our ability. Do not enter the clash with Iran."

The Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, also, said in this regard, "Iran has made itself prepared for the possible madness of the Zionist regime and has designed an unexpected plan. Iran's next response to the likely invasions will be given in a very different level."

Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, too, warned Israel with the words, "If the Zionist regime acts against the Iranian sovereignty and territorial integrity, Operation True Promise 2 will be repeated in a manifold magnitude and all infrastructures of Zionists will be hit."

Major General, Abdul Rahim Mousavi, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also, threatened the Israeli regime, saying, "If the regime commits another crime, Iran's next response will be many times firmer."

Brigadier General, Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Defense Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on the issue, "Operation True Promise 2 was completely legitimate and in compliance with the international rules, but if the Zionist regime dares to respond, Iran's moves will be far harsher."

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, also, stated in this regard, "Iran's act has ended unless the Israeli regime decides on further reaction. In that case, Iran will respond more strongly."

The Islamic Republic of Iran, within the framework of Article 51 of the UN Charter, in retaliation to the aggressive measure of the Zionist regime to violate the Iranian sovereignty and territorial integrity, assassination of Hamas leader in Tehran, intentional injuring of its ambassador in Lebanon, intentional targeting of civilians in Lebanon and assassination of the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Iranian military advisor, General Abbas Nilforoushan in Beirut, targeted the Israeli military and security bases on Tuesday October 1, 2024 with 200 missiles.
