AhlulBayt News Agency: At least 51 Palestinian civilians were killed and many others were injured in a heinous massacre committed last night by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different neighborhoods of southern Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli forces stormed late Tuesday night the neighborhoods of Qizan an-Najjar, as-Salam and al-Manara in the southeast of Khan Yunis, encircled several homes and launched intensive aerial and artillery attacks on them, massacring and injuring dozens of people.
The victims were evacuated to the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis, while efforts are still underway to find others under the rubble of houses. The number of the martyrs is likely to rise.
Following the massacre, the infiltrating Israeli forces withdrew at dawn today from the south of Khan Yunis and returned to their positions in Rafah.
