AhlulBayt News Agency: Different world figures and officials issued separate messages after the news of martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah by the Zionist regime.
Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, was martyred on Friday in a terrorist attack by the warplanes of the Zionist regime. This act of terror faced with condemnations of many figures in the world.
The office of the great Source of Emulation in Iraq, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, announced in a message, "This great martyr was an example of a unique leader who played an outstanding role for the recent decades in victory against the Israeli occupiers during the liberation of the Lebanese territories, and he supported the Iraqi people to liberate their country from the clutches of DAESH terrorists. Finally, he sacrificed his precious soul in the way of helping the oppressed people of Palestine."
The Venezuelan President, Nicholas Maduro, issuing a message, condemned the Israeli regime's crime and said, "The people of Palestine and Lebanon are the victims of genocide and terrorist acts of the murderous government of Netanyahu. His crimes remind of Hitler's acts. The order for this attack was issued from the UN in New York. The cowards of the world are silent, but no one can force the people who have risen up to be silent."
The Russian foreign ministry, too, expressly condemned the assassination of the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah and asked Israel to end hostilities in Lebanon. Speaking at the UN General assembly, Sergei Lavrov pointed to the assassination of Martyr Nasrallah and expressed concern over the spread of terror with a political motive.
Former Prime Minster of Lebanon, Saad Hariri, wrote on X social network, "This cowardly measure has pushed Lebanon and the region into a new phase of violence and clash. May God have mercy upon Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and I extend my sincere condolences to his family and companions."
Khalil al-Hayya, Deputy Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, stated, "No doubt, the assassination of Martyr Nasrallah and his mujahid companions was a full-scale act of terror and flagrant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty; and it means to expand the domain of the occupiers' aggression. This will be the beginning of a new phase of revenge. Nasrallah has left behind steadfast men in this arena who will accomplish their mission in liberation of al-Qods and support for the people of Gaza."
Seyyed Abdul-Malik Badruldeen al-Houthi, Leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement, announced in a statement, "The martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah will increase the flame of sacrifice and its inevitable result will be the annihilation of the Israeli enemy. Nasrallah imposed successive defeats on Israel and the forces of Arrogance. He led the greatest freedom-seeking movement in the world and was the leader of the martyrs in the way of al-Qods. We tell his respectful family, the resistance combatants and the Lebanese nation that this is the path of jihad and God glorifies His loyal servants with victory or martyrdom."
Allameh Nasser Abbas Jaafari, member of the Pakistani senate, said, "This is a crime and glaring violation of the international rules and attack on the lives of all humans. Martyr Nasrallah was the great banner-bearer of resistance against the Zionist enemy and his way will continue with full power."
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement announced in a statement, "It is a matter of honor for Martyr Nasrallah to be martyred in the way of supporting the Palestinian people, and that at a time, when the Arab regimes have fallen in the trap of compromise in the name of normalization of ties with the Zionist regime. The resistance forces in the whole region will force the enemy in near future to pay the price of its crimes. We express our deep condolences to [Ayatollah] Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and Hezbollah brothers and the Lebanese people."
The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, also announced in a statement, "The criminal acts of the Zionist regime indicate the regime's inclination to expand clash and insecurity in the region." Al Sudani, stressing the Iraqis' standing by the Palestinian and Lebanese nations, considered this stance to be based on the international legitimacy, humanitarian principles and the certainty of victory of the nations committed to their land and civilization.
Former Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Maleeha Lodhi, described the terror act against Hezbollah leader and other commanders during the recent weeks as an indicative of Netanyahu's scheme to drag Iran to the Gaza war. Lodhi said, "The US and the Western countries are seriously concerned over the reaction of the allies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and know that the situation has gone out of their control."
