Will Nasrallah's martyrdom disable Lebanese resistance against Israel?

Will the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, impact the course of the movement's anti-Zionism struggles?

AhlulBayt News Agency: According to Dr. Ali Ahmad, author and analyst, history reveals that the resistance front has always overcome shocks in the first weeks of confrontation with the Zionist enemy.

Will the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, impact the course of the movement's anti-Zionism struggles?

This is the question posed by Al-Jazeera website to the observers of security and strategic issues. We have touched upon important points of this question:

Unique solidarity of Hezbollah forces

Munir Shehada, analyst of regional strategic issues and former coordinator of the Lebanese government and UNIFEL forces, announced that although the recent developments, such as the blast of pagers and assassination of a number of the leaders of Rezvan unit and especially martyrdom of Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, may impact the performance of resistance, these forces have an exemplary solidarity and, just one hour after these attacks, have resumed launching of missiles towards the Zionist enemy. This issue reveals Hezbollah's power to restore its balance rapidly. Shehada maintains that the resistance will not give up attacking the Occupied Territories in spite of complicated conditions.

Imposition of further homelessness to Zionists in new equation

This security analyst refers to the developments of the southern front of the Occupied Territories and stresses that Tel Aviv faces serious challenges in this arena, too; and it seems that the operation of the resistance forces will continue in this front till the end of Gaza war. The prime minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, is trying to return the inhabitants of the northern territories to the settlements, while the Lebanese resistance has succeeded to launch its missiles 120 kilometers deep towards Tel Aviv. Therefore, it can be said that all these regions and settlements are exposed to homelessness and Israel, instead of trying to return 120-130 thousand homeless Zionists, should think of returning more than 1 million of them.

No limits for Hezbollah after Nasrallah's martyrdom

Shehada then pointed to the lack of rift between the two fronts of Gaza and south of Lebanon, and stressed that, especially after the Zionist regime's trespassing the redlines, Hezbollah enjoys numerous options which can be used freely. In view of this, the Hezbollah forces have increased their attacks with long-range missiles and new ammunitions.

Ground attack a great winning card for resistance

According to Munir Shehada, if Israel wants to start military operation on the ground, it can be considered as a gift to the resistance, because once the war begins in the zero distance, the air support of the enemy forces will stop. Referring to the high ability of the resistance in the ground war, Shehada stressed that the natural conditions of southern Lebanon are quite different from that of Gaza and there are arduous lands there. This region is 118 kilometers wide and 50 kilometers deep which is vaster than the entire area of Gaza.

Resistance potential to make a graveyard of Israeli tanks

Pointing to Hezbollah's tunnels, equipped with high amount of anti-tank ammunitions and Kornet and Sarallah missiles, he stressed that if the ground war begins, Israeli tanks will be destroyed even before entering the battlefront.

Hezbollah's ability to overcome recent shock

Dr. Ali Ahmad, author and political analyst, says that the continuation of war in the northern front of the Occupied Territories is a natural thing and believes that although this war has incurred damages and hardships for Hezbollah, history bears witness that the resistance has always overcome shocks in the first weeks of confrontation with the Zionist enemy. The experience of the 33-day war showed this issue, as well. At that time, too, Israelis dealt hard blows in the first days, but the resistance harnessed those blows in the first week and then successfully changed the course of developments.

Time: the cause of success for Hezbollah

Ali Ahmad stated that the resistance is powerfully present in the scene and will deal horrendous blows to the enemy. This only needs time to materialize. Thus, as the Zionist enemy has failed to achieve its objectives for the past year in the Gaza war, it will definitely gain no achievement against the steadfastness and perseverance of Hezbollah of Lebanon.
