AhlulBayt News Agency: The head of the Hadramout Tribes Confederacy, Amr Bin Habrish, said that the Saudi-led coalition seeks to bring in a military force from all parties to protect the oil facilities in Hadramout province without any party representing the province.
He confirmed that all political and military parties loyal to the coalition are targeting the confederacy, which represents the front for the legitimate demands of the people of Hadramout, indicating that those parties are seeking to share the wealth of Hadramout.
During a meeting held on Sunday with a number of tribes, Bin Habrish demanded that “the presidential leadership council” loyal to the coalition recognize only the legitimate rights of the Hadramout people before any oil export operation.
Bin Habrish stated that Hadramout needs a power station with a capacity of 500 megawatts, warning the pro-coalition government against disposing of the crude oil shipment in the Al-Dabba tanks, which he reiterated was for the Hadramout electricity service.
He added that Hadramout electricity has not witnessed any improvement for 30 years to alleviate the suffering of citizens, stressing “the need to sell gasoline and diesel to the province people from their wealth extracted from under their feet at the subsidized price.”
Bin Habrish emphasized that the tribal confederacy represents the people of the province, accusing a number of political parties loyal to the coalition, present inside and outside the country, of targeting the confederacy’s movements.
