Monster of Zionism a threat to whole world

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has described Zionism as a grave threat to the entire international community, warning that inaction in the face of Israeli atrocities in Palestine and Lebanon will soon plague the whole world.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has described Zionism as a grave threat to the entire international community, warning that inaction in the face of Israeli atrocities in Palestine and Lebanon will soon plague the whole world.

“The monster of Zionism is a threat to the whole world,” Nasser Kan’ani wrote in a post on his X account on Saturday.

“In light of the inaction of governments and international institutions, particularly the UN Security Council, regarding the horrific and unprecedented crimes of the Zionist regime in Palestine and Lebanon as well as the wholesale military, political and economic support of the United States for this criminal regime, the role of nations in supporting Palestine and Lebanon is influential and significant.”

He underscored that apathy towards the crimes of the terrible and rebellious Israeli regime will soon beset the whole world.

More than 700 people have been killed across Lebanon since Israel intensified a bombing campaign against the Arab nation on Monday.

Multiple airstrikes have targeted residential apartment buildings in southern Beirut in an attack described as “unprecedented,” with children reported among those killed.

The United Nations humanitarian coordinator in Lebanon has warned that the country is facing bloodshed not seen in decades, and that the crisis could deteriorate even further.

“The recent escalations in Lebanon are nothing short of catastrophic,” Imran Riza said. “We are witnessing the deadliest period in Lebanon in a generation, and many express their fear that this is just the beginning.”

On Friday, Israeli warplanes struck at least six residential structures in Haret Hreik neighborhood of Beirut’s densely populated southern suburb of Dahiyeh, killing at least eight people and wounding some 80 others.

The latest attacks came as part of the regime’s escalation against Lebanon, which has taken a deadlier turn in recent days, claiming the lives of more than 700 people across the country since Monday.
