AhlulBayt News Agency: At least 51 people were killed and 223 wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon on Wednesday, the Lebanese health minister Firas Abiad said during a press conference.
He added that the government has formed a crisis cell to monitor the situation of the displaced, as more than 50,000 people are currently in shelters after a massive wave of displacement from southern Lebanon due to ongoing heavy bombardment that has destroyed entire villages.
Additionally, the International Organization for Migration reported that approximately 90,530 people have been displaced in Lebanon as the Israeli attacks escalated over the past two days, with around 40,000 of them located in 283 shelters.
Furthermore, Environment Minister Nasser Yassin announced that the total number of martyrs due to the aggression has reached 1,247, while the number of injured has risen to 5,278.
He noted that most of the victims are civilians, including children and women.
