Shiite Sunni’s solidarity in mourning for Imam Hussain (a.s.) made Salafis mad

The Head of the Executive Board of the Association of Lebanese Muslim Ulama, and the coordinator of the country’s Islamic Action Front, met with the Chairman of the Ashura International Foundation.

Other fighters replaced martyred commanders; Resistance continues

In this meeting, which was held on Sunday morning, September 22, 2024, Sheikh Hassan Abdullah, referring to the Zionists’ brutal crime in Lebanon, said, “Netanyahu started this operation to return the people of the north of the occupied territories to their homes. However, his action resulted in the displacement of Haifa people as well.”

Regarding the explosion of pager devices and attacks on buildings in Beirut, he continued, “In these attacks, several commanders were martyred. But other fighters replaced them, and the Resistance continues.”

The Lebanese Shiite cleric further stated, “We should be careful of the enemy’s seditiousness. In the previous battles, whenever the Resistance achieved victory, the enemy tried to undermine it by creating sedition. Enemies once created sedition by assassinating Rafiq Hariri; then created Takfiri groups like ISIS and started the Syrian civil war. They are looking for sedition now too,”

Lebanese Sunni ulama participated in all mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussain (a.s.) during Muharram

Hojat al-Islam Hassan Abdullah also mentioned the solidarity of Shiite and Sunni ulama during the days of mourning for Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Lebanon. “During Muharram, we established Islamic Unity Hussainiah in Beirut where, in addition to distributing food by Shiite and Sunni ulama, we held lecture programs, which had 700,000 followers. The Takfiris were extremely disturbed by this program.”

“The issue Imam Hussain (a.s.) and Ashura show the way of unity, not the division,” he continued, “Ulama participated actively in Muharram mourning in other cities as well, and we benefited from the Sunni ulama’s speeches in all mourning ceremonies held by Hezbollah.”

“60 people of Sunni ulama sent in the Arbaeen ceremony in Iraq by the Lebanese Muslim Ulama Association, and in addition to the pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (a.s.), they participated in the programs of the Al-Aqsa Call Mowkeb. This made selfies crazy,” added the head of the executive board of the Lebanese Muslim Ulama Association.

Regarding the anger of Wahhabi muftis, Hojat al-Islam Hassan Abdullah said, “Salafis and Takfiris remarked that “by participating in these programs, Sunni ulama are excommunicated from Islam!” We replied: “It is you that are slandering the Sunnis with these words. Because the Sunnis, following the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), love Imam Hussain (a.s.).”

Referring to the words of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the Arbaeen about the continuous battle of the Hussaini Front against the Yazidi Front, he pointed out, “Hojat al-Islam Sayed Hassan Nasrallah stated that the Yazidi Front still exists, and Israel is in this front. Yahya Sinwar also said that “we will either win, or the Karbala epic will be repeated”.”

At the end of his speech, announcing his readiness to cooperate with the Ashura International Foundation, he suggested, “Lebanese Muslim Ulama Association, and Ashura International Foundation, can have joint activities in Lebanon about Ashura and Arbaeen.”
